colour play

The waves come crashing in,
Silently slipping through is a grin,
pulling together her hair blowing with the breeze,
all alone, she has only herself to please,

she asks why she let her self believe,
that yesterdays could be retrieved,
now she's left with use-to-be's,
memories that leave her with shaky knees,

etching her name in the sand,
the chill goes up her hand,
a distant dream feels the laughter,
the thoughts of a happy-ever-after,

glancing at her palm,
they've turned grey, everything they touch they seem to harm,
she scrapes and rubs like mad,
tears can stop it from doing bad,

the white world's turned grey,
because of her hands play,
the sorrow's spread all round,
run, run and tell everyone for doomsday they're bound,

her eyes red and puffy, the only other colour for miles,
scrubs it in the sea but faliure seems to be the consequence of all her trials,
nature once white was touched by this dreadful plight,
not even the sun can make this world bright,

it seems funny being the only one,
when before from crowd she used to run,
she drags her grey hand to her face,
the next minute she disappears without a trace...

will you be my angel?

She lost a moment ago her smile,
puts on her shoes ,wants to runaway a thousand miles,

She lost a moment ago her hope,
Still not sure if she can hang onto lifes rope,

She lost a moment ago her mind,
What she wants will she ever be able to find?

She lost a moment ago her sight,
The way she looks at things now nothing seems alright,

She lost a moment ago her pride,
She sits at home, from the world she hides,

She lost a moment ago her soul,
She now roams about the street like a ghoul,

and then an angel came down to earth,
a new girl inside her had taken birth,

the angel took away her pain,
made her feel loved again,

forgotten was the feeling of bieng lost,
for a new life god had tossed,

A face obscured the sun,
she looked up and asks, were you the one?

Today, Tomorrow, Day after tomorrow.

Today I break the rules to discover something new.
Tomorrow ten will penalize me.
Day after tomorrow hundreds will loathe.

Today I strive to change my surroundings.
Tomorrow ten will protest.
Day after tomorrow hundreds will isolate.

Today I stand firm on my beliefs.
Tomorrow ten will think I’m a coward.
Day after tomorrow hundreds will leave my side.

Today I donate all my money to educate children.
Tomorrow ten will think I’m a fool.
Day after tomorrow hundreds will snigger.

Today I dare to dream big.
Tomorrow ten will ridicule.
Day after tomorrow hundreds will say my feet are above the ground.

Today i'll achieve the impossible.
Tomorrow ten will be follow.
Day after tomorrow hundreds will be left dumbstruck.

Do what YOUR HEART says is right, because tomorrow will come and go.

One heck of a morning...

You wake up to find someone destroyed your house overnight.

You buy another one.

You wake up to find your car was stolen overnight.

You buy another one.

You wake up to find your dog was mudered overnight.

You find another one.

You wake up to find you were fired from your job.

You look for another one.

You wake up to find your gold ring melted in a house fire overnight.

You freeze yourself another one.

You wake up to find you're bankrupt.

Hello??Has no one noticed the economic crisis.....?

Flickering Flame

living a fantasy without meaning,

all this while, of a miracle she was dreaming,

slowly and silently she slipped away,

and still didnt know underneath all that evil what good there lay,

She thought everything was here to stay,

but forgot that after every night comes a new day,

now she's long gone,

in the hands of life she was a meer pawn,

when nothing felt alright,

she never remembered to switch on the light,

sick of feeling so left out,

On herself she began to doubt,

the last thing you do, be it never to lose hope,

however slippery the rope,

hold on tight,

through all the waves you fight, i promise the future will be bright

Disarmament should be made mandatory.

Let me paint for you a scenario of what life would be like in our school a few years from now.Imagine a nuclear shelter beneath this very auditorium and the morning assembly being replaced by mandatory evacuation training. Can you imagine yourself in such a situation - hounded by fear, haunted by an uncertain future? This scenario is part of our distant future if we do not begin with mandatory disarmament.

Are the horrors of Nagasaki and Hiroshima not enough to convince us on the perils of nuclear disarmament? That fateful day on August 1945, the Americans redifined our views on nuclear weaponary and its devastating capability. Never before had mankind seen something created with such destructive power. Nuclear weaponary in the hands of rogue nations and scientist pose a threat to the welfare of all people.

Millions of people in large numbers of countries live in fear of land mines and explosives. Conventional weapons have killed millions of individuals over the years, encouraged violence and destabilised economic development and increased poverty.
Should we be spending on arms rather than people?

Modern arms are light, easy to carry, require little maintaince and training making very office worker, every shopkeeper, every school child a potential soldier.

So you may ask why not voluntary disarmament? Unless mandated there would always be a debate on which country should begin first due to mutaul distress between governments, counties, etcetra etctra.

I would like to end with a qoute
"The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing."

Why is it?!

Why is it that when i want to write,i cant think of anything, but other times i am attacked with a squad of ideas?

Why is it that when time comes to return my library book i just cant find it and at other times i'm just finding ways to get rid of it?

Why is it that happy, healthy people have their life snatched in a matter of seconds, while it takes a matter of years for people suffering?

Why is it that the battery in your mobile is exhausted when you really need to make that call to the ambulance, while other times it seems as if your going to get exhausted talking?

Why is that people like Obama are born with a modest amount of money and people like Hitler have money pouring out of their pockets?

Why is that it takes one person to start a war and a million people to end it?

I dont have an answer to any of these.
But i do know this.....Whatever happens, happens for a reason.

The fate of a girl child

Those dark brown curls danced in the breeze,
the sunlight, her sparkling green eyes tease,
With a chocolate brown complexion,
she was a maiden of perfection,

When she'd break into a smile,
Happiness would spread down a mile,
Her hand they said could do magic,
Yet her end was tragic,

All she wanted was to go to school,
To even consider something like that, she had been a fool,
They broke the news that she was going to be their little bride,
That night she ran away , in the gutter she hides,

They caught her at dawn break,
they took her hand and drowned her in the village lake,
She still lies there,
And now everyone takes their girls to see her and say"this is what happens if with us you do not bear."

Let us strive to empower the women of India and the world:)

Rush

To get to her future she was hypnotised,
With its beauty she was mesmerised,
Didn't have time to catch her breath,
She had caused her childhood's death,

Tangled in tomorrows troubles,
On every step of the way she fumbles,
Just couldnt see how beautiful life ought to be,
From every night and day she would flee,

She was the board they pinned their hopes to,
Everyday from happiness she flew,
so busy she was in trying to reach perfection,
she never stopped to see her own reflection,

She walked away from those days of smiles,
Now stacked on her table were a bundle of files,
Her smart suit she wanted to tear,
what she wanted most was the fresh air.

Just another successful girl...

life took her hand and swept her off the ground,
before she knew it, her head was spinning round,
the girl she saw in the mirror was a stranger,
little did she know of the danger,

She had attained all materialistic leisures,
Accumalated the world's greatest treasures,
She thought they'd all be proud,
now that they had left her, what was she going to do with this money mound?

On the edge of breaking down,
She felt like in a million ropes she was bound,
The harder she tried to breakaway,
The more life tried to make her stay,

desperate to find something more,
to spread her wings and soar,
She longed for a friend,
But her ambitions had made it too late to mend,

stuck inside a world she hates,
Now nothing could change her fate,
sick of their big fake smiles and silly lies,
She wanted to break with the world all her ties,

her heart crippled with pain,
she would spend endless nights in the rain,
and one day she went into an everlasting sleep,
but no one would weep,

who can deny the joy money brings,
sometimes it feels like the only thing,
but one day you'll realize,
that beyond it nothing lies.
